# What are working agreements

A recurring theme in the things I read and listen to on organisational excellence is the concept of being explicit about things. About everything.

Intentionality in organisations seems to be like exercise or sleep for human health: it's a basic requirement for organisational health, but so simple we sometimes forget about it.

Many folks have concluded that what ails most teams is assumptions (this is a large part of what drove us to engage with Junxion on the biggest parts of what we do: our mission and our values.)

Working agreements are intended to cover more mundane things, to be explicit and intentional in order to help us be accountable to each other but also, by putting it down in writing, to leave it open to discussion, revision and fine-tuning.

My intention in starting this is to explicitly open this up - it is NOT to shut it down. It's just that I know that I'm the nerd on these things (on Wednesday evening I went to a pub, had a pint of Guinness and a pack of Tayto's and read about tools for sharing information, and systems of membership...). I still need to figure out how to share this so that you can all review this and suggest edits etc.

What you'll see today (13 December 2019) is some blank pages with titles, like meetings, Slack, decision-making, etc. I'm going to start filling these in, but **you can too**!

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
