Slack - how we use it

Some ideas on how we might use Slack

For now we can just have a look at the Buffer agreements around Slack, which are a good jumping off point: https://open.buffer.com/slack-agreements/ Some stuff I've been doing recently is: - trying to be consistent about using conversations to contain stuff AND clicking the box so that it posts in the main channel as well. - using emoji's to indicate support rather than text or new messages (which show up for other people as unread messages, which means they have to click into it to read it etc) - defaulting to channels, rather than DM's - the more I've been doing this the lighter I feel and the less I find that actually needs to be in a DM.
